Inspired by Music: Into the Mystic

It’s been a long time since I posted new artwork to my store on Society6 so I used the tried and true method of getting inspired, music. I created a digital collage with typography that was inspired by the lyrics of Van Morrison’s “Into the Mystic” from his 1970’s album entitled Moondance. Into the Mystic is so beautiful, simple and timeless. I suggest buying a copy from itunes if you haven’t already or buy the whole album (with happens to have another one of my all-time favorite songs, “Crazy Love”).

The image elements in my digital collage are a combination of my photographs, digital painting done in Photoshop, and textures that I have created. The typography is done in a font called “Hannah’s Messy Handwriting” by Hannah Marlin on
